Did Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene tweet that Jesus Christ made a single day's worth of bullets last eight days and allowed the Continental Army to defeat socialist Mexicans and liberal Muslim British? No, that's not true: This is a fake tweet. There is no evidence of this tweet being on the Georgia Republican's Twitter profile.
The claim appeared in a Facebook post on July 4, 2022. The post read:
246 years ago Jesus Christ performed his miracle of making a single days worth of bullets last 8 days, allowing The Continental Army (Americans Woot!) to defeat the Socialist Mexicans and the Liberal British (who were also Muslim). That's why I give thanks this 4th of July.
This is what the post looked like on Facebook at the time of writing:

Searching through Greene's verified Twitter account, @RepMTG, Lead Stories could not find this tweet on her profile. On July 4, 2022, she posted this tweet celebrating the 4th of July:
Happy Independence Day!
-- Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene🇺🇸 (@RepMTG) July 4, 2022

Nor did the tweet appear on Politiwoops, a website that saves copies of social media posts deleted by prominent politicians.
We have emailed Nick Dyer, a member of Greene's communications team, and will update this article if we receive a response from him.
