Did President Trump's son Barron Trump publish a tweet on X saying, "I believe we're on the brink of uncovering a dark legacy in this country," among other things? No, that's not true: The message came from an account that describes itself as having "No Affiliation" with Barron Trump, but it was widely reposted anyway. According to media reports, Barron Trump does not have a presence on X.
The post on X (archived here) was published on February 13, 2025 by an account with the handle @news_barron and it read:
Everyone who knows me sees me as a realist, some even a pessimist. With that in mind, you'll understand the weight of what I'm about to say:
I believe we're on the brink of uncovering a dark legacy in this country that's been hidden for far too long.If you're struggling to grasp how your ex government could do such things, my advice is to either brace yourself or go hide until someone saves you.
I truly think the dam is breaking, and regardless of how it unfolds, real change is coming. Those at the federal and state levels should be preparing to lose sleep--it's about to go mainstream.

According to reportingby The Palm Beach Post dated November 11, 2024, (archived here), Barron Trump does not have a social media presence except possibly for a @barrontrump account on X where nothing has been posted:
From about 2012 to 2015, Melania Trump tagged the X account @barrontrump. However, that account on X follows only one account (hers) and has more than 24,800 followers as of Nov. 11, 2024. But there is no profile photo, no cover photo, no tweets and no bio -- only the social handle and the date "@barrontrump" joined the social media platform (August 2012, when he was 6 years old).
