Fact Check: AI 'Trump Gaza' Video Published on Donald Trump's Official Social Media Features Golden Trump Statue, Bearded Belly Dancers He Posted It

Was an AI video featuring a "Gaza 2025" caption published on Donald Trump's official social media accounts? Yes, that's true: The video showed buildings, shops and other items bearing "Trump Gaza" signs, bearded belly dancers, Elon Musk eating and being showered with banknotes and U.S. President Donald Trump and Israel Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu chilling next to a pool sipping cocktails. Detection tools show the video was generated using AI.

The video appeared on Trump's Truth Social account on February 26, 2025 (archived here). It also appeared on his Instagram account (archived here) and as a reel on Facebook (archived here)

This is what the video looked like on Instagram:

Lead Stories ran the video through the AI detection tool at hivemoderation.com. The tool gave the video an aggregate score of 99.7, concluding it was "likely to contain AI-generated or deepfake content".

The video had a musical soundtrack with following lyrics:

Donald Trump is to set you free, bringing the light for all to see.

No more tunnels, no more fear: Trump Gaza is finally here!

Trump Gaza shining bright. Golden future, a brand new life.

Feast and dance, the deal is done. Trump Gaza, number one!

Feast and dance, the deal is done. Trump Gaza, number one!

The video started with scenes of a destroyed Gaza street featuring a child and a man armed with an assault rifle before showing more civilians walking among rubble while a caption is shown that says "Gaza 2025".
