Does a video clip authentically show DOGE employees breaking into government offices, with one of them saying "ChatGPT could do all your jobs"? No, that's not true: The viral clip was taken from a video from Youtube channel that publishes scripted prank videos. The title of the original video called it a "fake DOGE prank".
The clip was uploaded in a TikTok post (archived here) on February 27, 2025 by an account named "SkibidiClipper69 with following description:
YT: Danny Mullen. Ai is one crazy tool. #doge #dogecoin #elonmusk #tesla #clip #comedian #crypto #chatgpt #ai #prank #fypage

A transcript of the audio made with Google's Pinpoint and edited for clarity by Lead Stories read:
Woman: ... longer than I wanted.
Man: What? Do you have to work for about 15, 20 minutes this morning?
Woman: That's pretty snarky and who are you?
Man: Brad Schmidt aka Face [BLEEP] DOGE. You're not going to slip off for an early lunch break now, are you?
Woman: God forbid. And what is this?
Man: God forbid is right because we're taxpayers. Well, we wanted to audit the computer systems. These two ladies here they're stonewalling us. They've been trained to look out for us. They have. I think honestly one Asian kid with Chad GPT could do all your jobs, too. That's true.

However, as the overlay indicated, the video was clipped from an original video by Youtube creator Danny Mullen that was published on the site on February 24, 2025 (archived here) under a title that read:
Fake DOGE Prank in San Francisco (Liberal Meltdown)
Mullen's Patreon bio says he is "Creating comedy videos" and his Instagram bio says "Comedian".
