Did United Kingdom Prime Minister Keir Starmer post on social media about the Muslim holy month of Ramadan, on March 30, 2025, but fail to post about Mother's Day on the same day? No, that's not true: Starmer posted about Mother's Day on Facebook, Instagram and LinkedIn. He also wished Muslims a blessed Eid-al-Fitr, the festival which marks the end of the holy month of Ramadan.
The claim appeared in an X post (archived here) on March 30, 2025. It read:
Keir Starmer wished Muslims a happy Ramadan, but refused to wish British mothers a Happy Mother's day.
He doesn't even hide it anymore.
This man is a woman-hating Islamist.

In reality, Starmer posted about both Ramadan and Mother's Day on March 30.
At 8 a.m. local time, Starmer posted to Facebook, LinkedIn (archived here) and Instagram (archived here) a tribute to his mother Josephine and his wife Victoria, along with a photograph of the couple on their wedding day, posing with Starmer's parents. Both posts ended with "Happy Mother's Day." He wrote:
Thinking of my late mum today, who so influenced me as I was growing up; and thinking of my wife Vic, who is the rock of our family.
This picture, from our wedding day, is one of my favourite memories of them both together.
Happy Mother's Day.
