Fact Check: Video Does NOT Show Israeli Drone Sent By India Destroyed In Pakistan -- Thai Fireworks! Fireworks

Does a video of a circular object with sparks and smoke swirling under it as it falls to the ground show an Israeli drone sent by India being destroyed over Pakistan? No, that's not true: The video shows a firework known as a "Thai Girandola" misfiring during a launch in Thailand. The video is an edited version of the original and omits the first 10 seconds which show the launch. It is not a military drone.

The claim appeared in a post (archived here) shared on X on May 8, 2025, featuring a video. The caption above the video read:

Another Israeli drone sent by India destroyed in Pakistan. The total number of Israeli drones destroyed by Pakistani is now 35.
