Fact Check: Donald Trump Did NOT Post 'Stop Calling Me Names' And Threatening To Throw Ketchup At The Wall -- Fake Image Not Real

Did President Trump post on Truth Social demanding people stop "calling me names" like "TACO" and threatening to "throw ketchup at the wall" otherwise? No, that's not true: A viral image of such a post listing several derogatory nicknames for Trump has been fabricated. There is no trace of such a post on Trump's actual Truth Social account and none was indexed by Google.

The viral image appeared in several places, for example in a post on X (archived here) on May 31 with a comment that read:

Uh oh! #TACOTrump's bigly mad.

This is the image in question:

It read:

STOP CALLING ME NAMES! I will not tolerate being called TACO, Ole YamTits, Orange Shitgibbon, Man-Baby, Tiny Hands, Diaper Don, Mushroom Dick, Toupe'd Fucktrumpet, Trumplethinskin, Diaper Don, Grifter-in-Chief, Don the Con, DonOld, The lyin' Kink, Rug-wearing Thundernugget, Farty-Seven, The Orange Shitler, or That Orange Fuck! Don't make me throw ketchup at the wall, because I will.

Lead Stories reviewed Donald Trump's account on Truth Social (archived here) and did not see a post like this published recently.

A Google search for the phrase "TACO" limited to links containing truthsocial.com/@realdonaldtrump (using the "site:" search operator) returned no results (archived here), indicating Google didn't recently index such a post.

Trump's Truth, a website that archives Trump's Truth Social posts, did not include any posts (archived here) with the phrase "ketchup at the wall".

All screenshots of the supposed post reviewed by Lead Stories showed exactly the timestamp ("2h") and had the same number of comments ("1.81k") and likes ("23.5k"). If the post had been real there probably would be more screenshots circulating showing different timestamps and engagement counts.
