Fact Check: Public FOIA Log Does NOT Show Hillary Clinton Requesting 'Gilgamesh' And 'Nephilim' Documents Not Her Emails

Does a viral video show a "leak" from a FOIA release that proves Hillary Clinton sent an email requesting documents about the "resurrection chamber of Gilgamesh" and "buried Nephilim"? No, that's not true: A publicly available document from the Department of State shows somebody named Denetra Senigar sent in a request under the Freedom of Information Act to ask about these things in 2018. Hillary Clinton is not mentioned as a requester in the document at all.

The screenshot appeared in a video posted on X (archived here) on August 1, 2025 with a description that read:

🔥🚨BREAKING: A leak from the FOIA release of State Department emails allegedly confirms a claim that this email is from Hillary Clinton on Dec 13, 2018 "Requesting documents pertaining to the resurrection chamber of Gilgamesh, the location of his body and the location of the buried Nephilim."

This is part of the document visible in the video:

The document shows information that can be found in one of the publicly available FOIA logs of the State Department (archived here). The Department of State website explains what these are:

FOIA Logs list the FOIA requests received by the Department of State. Please note that the Case Status column reflects the status of the case at the time the FOIA Log was created.

FOIA stands for "Freedom of Information Act", which a U.S. government website (archived here) defines as:

Since 1967, the Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) has provided the public the right to request access to records from any federal agency. It is often described as the law that keeps citizens in the know about their government. Federal agencies are required to disclose any information requested under the FOIA unless it falls under one of nine exemptions which protect interests such as personal privacy, national security, and law enforcement.

In the 2019 log (archived here) there is indeed a line for a case number "F-2019-02110" that says somebody named "Senigar, Denetra" filed a request in 2018 described as:

Requesting documents pertaining to the resurrection chamber of Gilgamesh, the location of his body and the location of the buried Nephilim.

The status of the request was listed as "Closed". Although the log shows several other requests from various people asking information about or pertaining to Hillary Clinton, she is not named as a requester in the document at all and there are no other requests in the log about "Gilgamesh" or "Nephilim".
