Did Dolly Parton, George Strait, Reba McEntire, Carrie Underwood, Alan Jackson and Blake Shelton announce a joint tour in 2026 called "One Last Ride" as several social media posts declared? No, that's not true: There is no mention of such a joint tour on any of the six country stars' social media pages. No credible news outlet has reported what would, if real, be major music news. August of 2025 saw an increased number of fake concert announcements created to draw traffic to engagement farming social media accounts like this one, managed from VietNam.
Several versions of the claim appeared on social media including this August 19, 2025 Facebook (archived here) where it was published by the Country Music Hits page under the title "COUNTRY LEGENDS UNITED". It opened:
2026 "ONE LAST RIDE" TOUR ANNOUNCED: Dolly Parton, George Strait, Alan Jackson, Carrie Underwood, Reba McEntire, Blake Shelton. Six icons. One stage. One unforgettable journey.Enjoy video now! https://musicinyou.buzz/country-legends-united-2026-one.../

Using all six names, plus key words, Lead Stories searched Google News' index of thousands of news sites and found no reports of such a concert tour. Lead Stories used the same search terms to check the Yahoo! News index of its partner sites and news services and found no credible reports of such a concert tour, only copies of the same AI-generated memes and posts, plus purported setlists and ticket sites, some also from a site with an Arizona address, but reported by Facebook as being managed from VietNam:
