Fact Check: A Trump Epstein Banner Was NOT Unfurled On The White House Lawn - Altered Pic Of Banner At Windsor Castle Doctored Pic

Is there an authentic photo showing the White House lawn partially covered by a large banner that features the images of President Donald Trump and Jeffrey Epstein? No, that's not true: The banner is real and was displayed on the Long Walk at Windsor Castle on September 15, 2025, but not on the White House lawn in Washington, D.C. A photograph of the banner on the ground at Windsor Castle is publicly available on the internet and from the Getty photo agency. Multiple news outlets reported on the banner on the castle lawn.

The claim appeared in a September 16, 2025 post on the X.com (archived here) account @PaulleyTicks. It opened:

BREAKING: Antifa thugs scale fence around White House and plant giant anti-Trump banner on the White House lawn.

This is what the image looked like on X.com at the time of writing:

A large banner on the White House lawn displaying two images of Donald Trump in suits and ties. The White House, a white building with columns, is visible in the background with a pathway and green lawn. Several people are scattered on the lawn near the banner.

The banner was placed on the Long Walk at Windsor Castle on September 15, 2025, and the photo is credited to the Getty photo agency in news stories. The banner highlights President Donald Trump's friendship with Epstein, using a photo of the pair at Trump's Mar-A-Lago home in Florida that is available on the Getty photo agency website (archived here).

Multiple news outlets reported on the Trump Epstein banner, including YahooNews (archived here), People magazine (archived here) and the New York Times (archived here). Here is what the banner looked like on the ground in the photo published on People magazine's website:

The image of the banner on the White House lawn is doctored, removing Windsor Castle and the Long Walk and replacing it with the White House lawn. The people standing around the banner at the White House are the same as those standing around it in the real photo, as the red circles on these screenshots show:
