Does a viral selfie of a light-haired person in a dark skirt, taken with a pink cellphone, portray the owner of the @NajraGalvz account on X, which posted one day before the event that "something big" would happen during the Utah Valley University event at which Charlie Kirk was killed? No, that's not true: The photo was misattributed. The @NajraGalvz account never published the image.
The claim originated from a post (archived here) published on X on September 10, 2025. It opened:
Omar is the alleged 17 year old trans shooter who posted something BIG was going to happen and then the assassination on Charlie Kirk. Omar has already dumped this X handle. How did Omar know? Seems like an MK Ultra programmed rooftop shooter with a million in a brokerage account is exposed. Anyone care to comment? Who could have called it?
The post included an attached image. This is what it looked like on X at the time of writing:

One day before Turning Point co-founder Charlie Kirk was killed (archived here) at a college event in Utah on September 10, 2025, the Omar @NajraGalvz account on X wrote that "something big will happen tomorrow", but later denied any involvement in the shooting.
As of this writing, the name "Omar" was changed to "Max" in the account's handle, and the bio line suggested that the original owner was not in charge of the @NajraGalvz profile anymore:
Username taken after the original owner changed their handle to prevent it being taken and used by scammers. My condolences to friends/family of Charlie Kirk.
Yet, @NajraGalvz's posts didn't include the image in question. On July 15, 2025, it was published by a different account whose owner's preferred pronouns are she/her. That account didn't appear to have written publicly anything about Kirk at all.
While @NajraGalvz did repost from that account at least once, that post was not the selfie of the light-haired person in the dark skirt with a pink phone.
When on September 11, 2025, the FBI released the images (archived here) of the "person of interest in connection with the fatal shooting of Charlie Kirk", those pictures showed a person with short hair.
