Are recordings of purported calls of President Trump ranting that he would start a war or let the country starve to avoid releasing the Epstein files real? No, that's not true: The earliest versions of social media posts with two purported Trump recordings include the Sora watermark, which indicates that OpenAI tool was used to make them. None of the posts include any other information to explain how they were recorded.
The first recording (archived here) found by Lead Stories was posted on the fresh_florida_air TikTok account while the federal government was shutdown on November 5, 2025. The on-screen caption read: "Trump and his cabinet on a recent call". The fake Trump voice said:

The transcript of the second version (archived here), which appeared on the fresh_florida_air TikTok account on November 16, 2025, read:
Not releasing the Epstein files. Fuck Marjorie Taylor Green. I don't care what you do. Start a fucking war. Just don't let them get out. If I go down, I will bring all of you down with me.

Each version includes the Sora watermark, which indicates it was created by the generative AI tool released by OpenAI. We could not determine how or if the @bradbradt31 account is related to the fresh_florida_air account.
