Fact Check: The Boy Who Bad Bunny Gave A Grammy During The Super Bowl Halftime Show Was NOT Liam Ramos -- It's Actor Lincoln Fox He's An Actor

Was the little boy who Bad Bunny handed his Grammy trophy during the Super Bowl Halftime show Liam Ramos, the five-year-old Columbia Heights, Minnesota, boy detained by ICE in January 2026? No, that's not true: The boy is actor Lincoln Fox. A spokesperson for the child's school told Lead Stories that "Liam and his family are sequestered during this time." Liam and his father returned to Minnesota from a Texas detention center after a court ordered them released, but the family still faces possible deportation, the spokeswoman said.

The claim appeared in a post (archived here and here) published by the @EdKrassen account on X on February 8, 2026. It featured a photo of the boy holding the Grammy award and a photo of Liam wearing a blue bunny hat and a backpack just before he was detained by ICE. The caption read:

Many of you may have missed this, but the little boy who Bad Bunny handed his Grammy to at the Super Bowl was Liam Ramos!
Amazing!

This is what the image in the post looked like at the time of writing:

The two children are the same age and do have similar appearances, which helped fuel speculation and acceptance of the false claim.

Kristen Stuenkel, the communications director for the Columbia Heights, Minnesota, school district where Liam is enrolled, told Lead Stories in an email:

Regarding rumors that Liam Conejo Ramos was the child in the Super Bowl Half Time Show with Bad Bunny: Supt. Stenvik has indicated that the child is not Liam. Liam and his family are sequestered during this time. The Trump administration fast-tracked the family's asylum.

Liam's family attended a court hearing on the Friday before the February 8, 2026 Super Bowl, Stuenkel said.

At that hearing the judge gave them a continuance so they now have a court date this coming Friday, February 13. Depending on the outcome of the hearing, Liam and his family could be deported at the end of this week.

The child actor has been identified as Lincoln Fox, whose Instagram account shared a video (archived here and here) from the stadium. His Instagram profile said Lincoln is five years old and born to Egyptian and Argentinean parents.

His acting profile (archived here) listed his full name as Lincoln Fox Ramadan and his hometown as Costa Mesa, California. He is a kindergarten student with five years of modeling and acting experience, it said. His previous work includes modeling for Target "Cat and Jack" summer wear and acting in a Walmart toy commercial.

The summary reads:

Multiethnic 5 YO model with a proven job record showcasing exceptional adaptability and emotional expression. Excelled in promoting products through engaging commercials and photo shoots, demonstrating a keen ability to follow directions and remain motivated. Half Egyptian, half Argentinean
