Fact Check: FAKE Photos Of Bill Clinton And Stephen Hawking Dressed In Pajamas And A Princess Outfit -- They're AI Creator Admits

Are photos of Bill Clinton and Stephen Hawking dressed in pajamas and a princess outfit, respectively, real and found in the Epstein files? No, that's not true: The creator of the images told Lead Stories they generated the images in Grok and "published them on sites and groups clearly identified as sharing AI-generated images."

The claim appeared in a March 6, 2026, post on X account @Xx17965797N (archived here). It opened:

Lead Stories uploaded the image showing Clinton in pajamas carrying Hawking, who is dressed in a princess outfit, to the Hive Moderation AI-generated content detection tool for analysis (archived here). Hive scored it 94% likely to be AI-generated content:

The images were traced to digital creator Marc-André Lavoie (archived here), who told Lead Stories via Facebook Messenger on March 10, 2026, that he generated the images using Grok. Lead Stories was unable to independently verify that he is the original creator. In a message, he wrote:

Yes, I created the prompts myself and generated the images in Grok.

Lavoie said he "only published them on sites and groups clearly identified as sharing AI-generated images to avoid any ambiguity about my intention to create fake news."

He originally posted the images on the Facebook group "Crazed AI" (archived here) with the caption, "Image E663337 of Epstein files." But after a search under that number within the Epstein files on the Department of Justice website, Lead Stories did not find any matching files, as this screenshot shows:

If these images had been released within the Epstein files by the U.S. Department of Justice, there would have been questions about them during the House Committee on Oversight and Government Reform depositions of former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton and former President Bill Clinton. The depositions took place on Feb. 26 and Feb. 27, 2026, respectively (archived here).

Lavoie added he recently recognized his photos were not being identified as AI-generated:

However, I've noticed in the last few days that my images have been picked up on X by MAGA supporters and other organizations who want to use them for conspiracy theory purposes. Yet, I find the context of my images so absurd, and I didn't expect anyone to believe they were real.
