Did President Trump post to Truth Social that the "United States will begin a major Ground Operation in Iran"? No, that's not true: No such message about a "Strong", "Precise" and "Successful" operation appears on Trump's Truth Social account as of this writing. Google didn't index any message with the text from a viral screenshot that appeared to show such a post.
A screenshot of such a post appeared on X (archived here) on March 29, 2026 with a comment that read:

The text in the purported message read:
The United States will begin a major Ground Operation in Iran. It will be STRONG, PRECISE, and SUCCESSFUL. Our Great American Warriors will NEVER be denied. GOD BLESS AMERICA!
Lead Stories searched for the phrase "Ground Operation" on President Trump's Truth Social account and there were no matching results (archived here).
A Google search for the same phrase limited to results with links containing truthsocial.com/@realDonaldTrump using the "site:" search operator returned no results either (archived here) indicating Google didn't recently index such a post.
All screenshots of the supposed post showed exactly the same "ReTruths" and "likes" counts and had identical backgrounds. If the post had been real the expectation would be that there were more screenshots circulating showing different view counts and/or layouts (night vs. day mode, mobile vs. web interface...).
