Fact Check: Dancing Man Video NOT Leaked From Kash Patel's Gmail Account -- Has Been Online For Years Not From Leak

Is a video of a dancing man "leaked from Kash Patel's Gmail account"? No, that's not true: While there have been reports about FBI Director Kash Patel's personal Gmail account being hacked, this video has been online since at least 2021. It has been described in the past as "Man's enthusiastic dance to celebrate wife leaving for her home".

The video appeared in a post on X (archived here) on March 29, 2026 with a description that read:

A 2022 article from Times Now (archived here) described the video as "Man's enthusiastic dance to celebrate wife leaving for her home":

A man could not contain the joy of his wife moving to her house for a few days. In a video making rounds on social media, the man was seen grooving to the popular song "Sun Sahiba Sun" from the movie "Ram Teri Ganga Maili". His friends are heard cheering for him in the background. The video was posted by a Twitter user with the handle @JaikyYadav16. It amassed more than 145k views on Twitter.
