Fact Check: Fake Video Shows Deploying U.S. Soldiers Kneeling In Prayer On A Runway AI Generated

Does a real video show rows of U.S. soldiers kneeling in prayer on a runway as they prepare to deploy? No, that's not true: This video is AI-generated. It was uploaded to TikTok on April 5, 2026, with a disclaimer, "Creator labeled as AI-generated".

The video was reposted on X (archived here) by @17anon_q72384 on April 7, 2026. It was captioned:

Row of soldiers kneel in prayer on the runway before takeoff, packs at their feet and the mission ahead.... a moment most people never see. May God protect our troops say AMEN!

The Hive Moderation AI-Generated Content Detection tool concluded the video was 91.6% 'likely to be AI-generated':

The video was originally posted on TikTok by @spectacularsights (archived here) with this caption:

Rows of soldiers kneel in prayer on the runway before takeoff, packs at their feet and the mission ahead.... a moment most people never see.
Because when everything is uncertain, some still know where to turn.

Many of the videos posted by the account feature scenes of large groups of people praying in public places such as grocery stores, schools, city streets, airport terminals, and fitness clubs. The individual videos posted by the account carry a disclaimer which says:

Creator labeled as AI-generated

The account's description did not feature an AI disclaimer. It read:

Spreading the light of Jesus through faith filled content ✨🙏
