Does a viral image of a dad dressed in his wife's clothes while picking up his son from school after suspension for bullying show a real-life event? No, that's not true: The image originated from an account with a self-described satire label. Four online AI detection tools ruled that the picture was artificially generated.
The claim appeared in a post (archived here) published on X by @MPelletierCIO on Aug. 25, 2026. It opened:
Absolutely Dad of the Year.
phuckin.a Got called out of work the other day because my boy needed to be picked up from school. Apparently, he was caught bullying other kids and had been suspended. I figured I'd turn the tables on him and dress up in his mom's clothes and a wig.
I don't think he'll be teasing anyone again anytime soon. I may not win Father of the Year, but I'll be damned if I'm gonna raise a bully.

The @phuckin.a account cited in the post published (archived here) the same image on Instagram two days earlier, on Aug. 23, 2026.
That account's self-description (archived here) read:
Don't take what you find here seriously, unless you find something seriously funny and if that be the case, carry on.

The @phuckin.a account's bio line also linked to the Post Of The Day page on Facebook whose watermark appeared in the image in question. The same image was also posted there (archived here) on Aug. 23, 2026, and this page showed an identical satire disclaimer (archived here):

The InVID verification plugin said that the odds of the image being a product of generative AI were 83%:

Online AI detection tool Sightengine found that there was a 99% chance that the image was created by AI:
