Does a real video show a transgender woman threatening her neighbor with guns after she was misgendered? No, that's not true: The scene depicted in the video is a skit from the social media creator Spicy Jayy. The apartment door with a Ring doorbell camera appears in several Spicy Jayy videos -- sometimes with the door open and members of the cast coming and going from the apartment. The video does not show a real conflict between strangers.
The video resurfaced in a post (archived here) from the X account @RT_Visual_on_X on Aug. 3, 2026. The post was captioned:
'Y'ALL SAID I WAS A MAN' -- transgender pulls up to someone's house with GUNS after being MISGENDERED

The video was originally published on YouTube by @thespicyjayy on Nov. 29, 2025 (archived here). Spicy Jayy has republished the video several times since then, most recently on Aug. 3, 2026 (archived here). Spicy Jayy's content features short skits with a small group of supporting characters. This video with the armed people ringing the doorbell was originally titled:

There is also an Instagram account @thespicyjayy. There are several videos which were filmed in the same breezeway where the skit with the guns was performed.

Examples of videos filmed in the same breezeway can be found here and here (archived here and here) feature the same doorway with the Ring camera. Across the hall, there is a green doormat and an apartment number plaque matching the location of the video with the guns. In these videos, the door in question is opened and the actors come and go from the apartment -- clearly part of the production. Additionally, the Ring camera footage would belong to the resident, suggesting the performance was done with their cooperation and intended to produce social media content.
