Are viral high-resolution images real photos or screenshots actually showing the person suspected of punching a man in broad daylight in Warsaw, Poland? According to the police statement (archived here) and news reports (archived here), the incident occurred in June 2026 near the Złote Tarasy shopping mall in the Polish capital. As of August 7, 2026, law enforcement said that they secured the original recording of the attack and were looking for the suspect.
Yet, the only video of the incident (archived here) did not show that person's face in high resolution.
InVID said that the wide shot showing the man in his full height was 89% likely to have been generated by AI while the odds for his portrait were 99% (click to view larger):
