Do videos falsely attributed to the New York Times show actors Alyssa Milano, Sean Astin and Rachael Harris supporting the "All Democrats Are Criminals" movement? No, that's not true: The videos use clips from Cameo accounts and add completely fabricated sound and captions. They are not real New York Times videos.
The claim appeared in three videos included in a post (archived here) by the @jabussel account on X on Sept. 18, 2026. It read:
I'm joining the stars; they're calling on others to join them in the #AllDemocratsAreCriminals campaign and not to vote for Democrats in November

There are three videos in the post on X and all of them have a New York Times logo (archived here) in the upper right corner. All of these videos were originally published on Cameo, with additional added media clips. None of these videos were published by the New York Times.
The Harris video on X matches one from her Cameo account (archived here). She is wearing a black turtleneck, black hat and glasses in both videos. In the Cameo video, she does not say she supports "All Democrats Are Criminals." This is a screenshot from Harris' Cameo account at the time of writing:

In the X video a voice that sounds like Harris says she is working on a new Netflix project titled "The Party of Sodom," which is about dark conspiracy theories involving Democrats and supporting the All Democrats are Criminals campaign. There is no such movie listed on the Internet Movie Database (archived here) as of the publication date of this article.
In Milano's video on X she is wearing a black and white top with red glasses on her head which matches her outfit in her Cameo video (archived here). There is no mention of the "All Democrats Are Criminals" campaign. This is a screenshot from Milano's Cameo account at the time of writing:

Astin's video matches one from his Cameo account (archived here) where he is wearing a black t-shirt and glasses. He does not bring up the "All Democrats Are Criminals" campaign. This is a screenshot of Astin's Cameo video taken at the time of writing:

Lead Stories searched the New York Times website (archived here) for news stories about Milano, Harris and Astin supporting the "All Democrats Are Criminals" campaign and did not find any matching reports.
Had the New York Times actually reported that these celebrities were supporting the "All Democrats Are Criminals" campaign, it would have been major news. Searches of Google News (archived here) and Yahoo News (archived here) showed other fact checks of the videos but did not find any credible reports of the actors making the alleged statements.
