Despite all of the buzz about Donald Trump, Bernie Sanders dominated social network attention days after the Fox News GOP debate, according to Lead Stories' Trendolizer measurement of social media audience attention.
The onstage confrontation between Sanders and two African-American women that interrupted a Seattle Sanders rally Saturday, August 8th, propelled Sanders to a commanding lead in the Trendolizer chart with as much as 40% of the audience attention as calculated by Trendolizer.

The senator from Vermont still claimed 35% of social network interest Monday afternoon, with Trump in second but far behind at 18%. Hillary Clinton was around 16%, followed by Ben Carson at 7% and Carly Fiorina near 5%. Carson and Fiorina enjoyed a post-debate bump that sent them to the top echelon of social interest and their rankings are stil in the top 5 of 22.
