Donald Trump pulls no punches in attacking GOP rival Ted Cruz, accusing the Texas senator of dirty tricks in the battle for South Carolina primary votes.
Trump tweeted: "Nasty Ted Cruz is at it again- same dirty tricks he used w/ @RealBenCarson- saying I may not be on ballot & I hold liberal positions. LIES!"

Trump previously called out Cruz for having campaign workers spread the false word at Iowa caucus sites that Ben Carson was halting his campaign and urging his supporters to support Cruz instead.
"Ted Cruz is a cheater! He holds the Bible high and then lies and misrepresents the facts!" Trump tweeted next.

Cruz has his gloves off, too. His campaign produced an ad accusing Trump having "no heart" in his tactics to build his real estate empire.
Trump is also threatening to sue Cruz in a challenge of his eligibility to run for president, considering he was born in Canada and lived there for four years before moving to Texas.
