2016-02-02T06:21:05Z 2016-02-02T06:21:05Z It could be days before we know which Democrat won the Iowa caucuses outright because of an apparent screw-up involving 90 of the state’s 1,800 precincts. CNN quoted a Sanders campaign official saying that the Iowa Democratic Party is working to “recreate” the results of 90 precincts that were not adequately staffed. CNN’s Wolfe Blitzer called it “very, very embarrassing” for the Democratic Party. With 99% of the vote, Hillary Clinton has 49.8% and Bernie Sanders has 49.6%. While the two candidates are likely to split the 44 delegates at stake evenly, it is important for a campaign to have the “bragging rights” to say they won the state. -
