Fact Check: FAKE Persona 'Brad T. Faciti' (BadFaithAct) Posted About Forgiving Trump 'Even If He Rapes Women and Children' Trolling

Did a widely-shared X post about forgiving President Donald Trump "even if he rapes women and children" come from a real person named "Brad T. Faciti"? No, that's not true: The X account (@BadFaithAct) appears to be a trolling campaign that posts political satire. The profile picture appears to be AI-generated, and the profile contains a link to an AI headshot generator.

The post was presented as real in a July 9, 2025, post on X (archived here), which consisted of a screenshot of the "Brad T. Faciti" post an the following introduction:

Maga: PED0S MUST PAY! PROTECT THE CHILDREN!!!!

Also Maga:

The screenshot itself appeared to come from the account of "Brad T. Faciti" (@BadFaithAct), and contained the following text:

I would say: no. The future of our country is too important. It is not wonderful if Trump had sex with a lot of children, but as Christians, we need to forgive. And it is good that he is the president, yes, even if he rapes women and girls.

This is what it looked like at the time of publication:

That was an unedited screenshot of a real post on X, but the account behind it did not belong to a real person named Brad T. Faciti, and was in fact a trolling account involving political satire and and AI-generated profile picture.

The original post was published on July 8 (archived here) and came in response to another X user who had posed the question:

WOULD YOU SUPPORT RELEASING THE EPSTEIN FILES, EVEN IF IT COULD SEND REPUBLICANS TO PRISON?

Here's what it looked like in its original context:

"Brad T. Faciti" does not appear to be a real person, and the account was in fact a trolling campaign, at times appearing to sincerely advance praise for President Donald Trump, while at other times subtly undermining Trump and his policies.

For example, earlier in July the account posted a thread on X (archived here) which it described as "10 bold Trump quotes that show his tough business mindset and have lessons that can help you in your life."

Among those was the following (archived here):

3.

"Laziness is a trait in blacks."

Lesson: You can't succeed with laziness. Stay active, stay sharp.

That quotation -- attributed to Trump by Jack O'Donnell (archived here), former president of Trump Plaza Hotel and Casino -- is clearly damaging to the president, rather than something likely to cast him in a good light. So the intention there clearly appears ironic and satirical, rather than sincerely supportive.

Later in the same thread, "Brad T. Faciti" pointed to (archived here) another Trump quotation, taken from his 1993 Congressional committee testimony (archived here) about the casino industry:

10.

"They don't look like Indians to me."

Lesson: Always verify credentials; don't let appearances fool you in business.

Again, that remark does not cast Trump in a particularly positive light, and certainly doesn't have any relevance to an overall business philosophy, so its function is clearly to undermine Trump's credibility, and therefore points to the overarching satirical purpose of the @BadFaithAct account.

In addition, a post from 2020 (archived here) suggests that @BadFaithAct previously had a different persona from the "Christian. Father. Patriot. Conservative. Small business owner. American" of "Brad T. Faciti". In that case, the post appeared designed to satirize left-wing rhetoric around law enforcement by adopting the persona of someone within that world:

Wanted to make this clear: when we say "KILL ALL COPS" we really mean "ACAB," which actually means "defund police," which is another way of saying "reform."

How is this so hard for everyone to understand?

Finally, the profile picture for "Brad T. Faciti" appears to have been generated using AI, and @BadFaithAct winks at that provenance by including in the profile (archived here) a link to https://www.aragon.ai/photo-generator?via=bradfaciti -- an "AI headshot generator":

aragon.jpeg

(Image screenshot: Lead Stories collage of screenshots of x.com/BadFaithAct and aragon.ai/photo-generator?via=bradfaciti)

The inauthenticity of the use of that picture was underlined in a July 10 exchange in which another X user wrote to @BadFaithAct (archived here): "Anyone ever told you that you kinda look like Jeffrey Epstein?"

@BadFaithAct replied (archived here): "Yes, people have told me this before, but I don't see it very much. I know we are both white men with gray hair but I feel it's not much more than that."

Given that we know the photo of @BadFaithAct as a "white man with gray hair" was AI-generated, and that the account creator acknowledges as much by including the Aragon link in their profile, this exchange is clearly a further act of trolling.

Finally, we could find no reliable evidence that "Brad T. Faciti" is a real person who owns the @BadFaithAct account on X. A "Bradley Faciti" account did exist (archived here) at one time on LinkedIn, but has since been deleted (archived here). However, it's not clear that its contents were authentic in any case.

Google searches for "Brad Faciti" (archived here), "Bradley Faciti" (archived here) and "Brad T. Faciti" (archived here) yielded no results not related to the @BadFaithAct X account.
