Fact Check: Manipulated Photo Shows Beyonce Wearing Israeli Flag And Star Of David -- Likely Edited With AI Manipulated

Does a viral photo authentically show Beyonce wearing a tank top with a Star of David while having an Israeli flag draped over her arms? No, that's not true: The image has been digitally manipulated based on an older original. The original picture shows no such tank top and shows red, white and blue tassels hanging from the singer's arms.

The image appeared in a post on X (archived here) published on July 8, 2025 with a caption that read:

🚨 LOOK FINAL! #CowboyCarterTour

This was the image in question:

However a reverse image search revealed it was in fact based on a picture posted earlier the same day (archived here) by an account named @behivecombr that use the exact same caption:

The outfit in that picture did not have the Star of David or the Israeli flag and showed red, white and blue tassels hanging of the singer's long gloves.

Fan-recorded footage (archived here) uploaded to the "BeyHiveBUCKIN'" channel on YouTube on July 8, 2025 confirms Beyonce was wearing this outfit during a recent performance:

AI detection tool Hive said it was 99.8% likely the image contained AI-generated or deepfake content, pointing to Stable Diffusion as the tool that was most likely used to manipulate the image.
