Donald Trump's top campaign aide Corey Lewandowski has been arrested and charged with battery against a reporter in Jupiter, Florida. The alleged battery occurred at a March 8 Trump rally when Breitbart News reporter Michelle Fields tried to ask Trump a question and his campaign manager grabbed her arm and pushed her away from the candidate.
Police provided this security camera video of the incident to Lead Stories:
A Trump spokeswoman said Lewandowski is "absolutely innocent" would plead not guilty to the misdemeanor charge. He turned himself in Tuesday morning and was released with orders to face a judge on May 4.

Trump reacted via Twitter, suggesting the video showed "nothing there."
Wow, Corey Lewandowski, my campaign manager and a very decent man, was just charged with assaulting a reporter. Look at tapes-nothing there!

Why aren't people looking at this reporters earliest statement as to what happened, that is before she found out the episode was on tape?

Fields resigned from Breitbart after a less-than-enthusiastic defense of the journalist by the conservative website, which is a favorite of Trump supporters.
