Gay Couple DID NOT Discover They Are Long Lost Twins

Fact Check

  • by: Jeremy Smith

There is a NOT TRUE story making the rounds on the internet about about a gay couple in New Jersey that found out through DNA tests they were actually twin brothers. The story comes from a known hoax site, but some people don't take note of that.

The NOT TRUE story states that "Both men were induced into going for DNA tests after friends and family members urged them to check out if they had any family ties due to their remarkable resemblance". In the image that accompanies the story, the two guys do in fact look very similar.

After a bit of investigating, it turns out that the reason they look so similar is that they ARE identical twins, Alex and Charlie Kotze, known as the K2 Twins, who aparently have a successful modeling career. Here they are on Instagram. THEY ARE NOT lovers. They have known since birth that they were twins.

Although the story comes from a site that is about satire, humor, and stories that are not true, many people don't scroll all the way down to see that. Be warned, people are out there spreading painfully false rumors about Alex and Charlie Kotze, "The K2 Twins".
