Did a poster promoting Kansas City tourism contain a typo that made it seem 25 million people visited it "anally"? No, that's not true: the image was digitally manipulated by a prankster.
The photo of the poster has been circulating for some time but it recently reappeared in a post on "Being Classically Liberal" on Facebook (archived here):

The official VisitKC Twitter account corrected the record in May 2018:
We can confirm that this photo is a fake. The advertisement it features has been doctored to show a misspelling where there is none.
