Did former President Donald Trump dedicate a tweet to billionaire businessman Elon Musk on April 15, 2022, as a thank you for allowing him back on Twitter? No, that's not true: Trump's account @realDonaldTrump is still suspended as of April 15, 2022. Additionally, there is no evidence that Musk is in a position to bring Trump's account back: although Musk bought a significant stake in Twitter and made an offer to purchase the social media platform, he is not the owner at the time of writing.
The claim appeared in a Facebook post (archived here) published on April 14, 2022. It featured a graphic of what seemed to be a tweet from Trump's suspended account @realDonaldTrump posted on April 15, 2022, at 8 a.m. The "tweet" read:
It's good to be back, Thanks Elon!
This is what the post looked like on Facebook at the time of writing:

The graphic of the "tweet" featured in the Facebook post was an internet creation. @realDonaldTrump was permanently suspended by Twitter on January 8, 2021, and was still suspended at the time of writing. Additionally, there was a glaring chronological issue with the graphic: the "tweet" was supposedly posted on April 15, 2022, while the Facebook post that featured the graphic of the "tweet" was published a day earlier, on April 14, 2022.
Further, Musk has not reinstated suspended Twitter accounts. Although he bought a large stake in Twitter and is seeking to purchase the company and take it private, he does not appear to have the power to single-handedly bring Trump's account back at the time of writing.
