Does a video showing a large motorcade with flashing lights traveling on a snow-covered highway document the arrival of Taylor Swift at Arrowhead Stadium to watch the Kansas City Chiefs play the Miami Dolphins in Missouri? No, that's not true: The video shows Donald Trump's motorcade arriving in Des Moines, Iowa, on January 13, 2024, in advance of the Iowa caucus on January 15, 2024. Video of Swift's arrival shows a smaller motorcade met her private jet in Missouri.

The video clip (archived here) was published on X by @ritsmith on January 13, 2024. It was captioned:

Visible in the above screenshot is a road sign for George Flagg Parkway, the road connecting the Des Moines International Airport to downtown Des Moines, Iowa.

The post of @ritsmith identified that the original source (pictured above in lower left corner) of the video was Margo Martin, the deputy director of communications for Donald Trump's campaign. The entire post from Martin, timestamped 7:06 p.m. January 13, 2024, was not reposted by @ritsmith, only the video. Martin's caption reads:

President @realDonaldTrump arrives in Des Moines!

Another post showing a video of the motorcade was made by Dan Scavino Jr., a senior adviser with Donald Trump's 2024 campaign. The video opens with the motorcade without emergency lights driving around a plane on the tarmac with patches of windswept snow. At the 0:16 second mark the motorcade moves down a snow-covered on-ramp and out onto the highway with the red and blue lights flashing.

A January 12, 2024, article on cnn.com titled, "Trump cancels three out of four of his weekend rallies before Iowa caucuses due to weather" reviews some of the changes made to Trump's schedule because of the sub-zero weather in Iowa. Forbes Breaking News posted a video on YouTube on January 13, 2024, of the telerally that was held from Hotel Fort in Des Moines with Trump and Iowa Attorney General Brenna Bird.

Taylor Swift did attend the Miami Dolphins vs. Kansas City Chiefs playoff game at the Arrowhead Stadium in Kansas City, Missouri. Photos of Swift's midday arrival at the Charles B. Wheeler Airport in Kansas City were captured by a Daily Mail photographer. The dailymail.com article includes images of a private jet on the tarmac with black SUVs pulled alongside and several large umbrellas shielding the view of who was disembarking. A photo of the motorcade leaving on a snowy road in daylight is captioned:
