Does a video show Hassan Nasrallah, the secretary-general of the Lebanese militant group Hezbollah, crying after an Israeli airstrike that occurred in Beirut on July 28, 2024? No, that's not true: Although the video does show Nasrallah crying, the video predates the Israeli airstrike. In the footage Nasrallah was making a speech about Ashura, an important commemorative day in Shia islam, and not about an attack in Beirut.
The claim appeared in a post (archived here) published on X on July 30, 2024. The post included a video of Nasrallah crying and was captioned:

The post on X was referencing the Israeli airstrike that hit Beirut, Lebanon on July 30, 2024, in response to a rocket attack against Israel on July 27, 2024, that left at least 12 children dead. Israel blamed Hezbollah for the attack, but the group said that it was not responsible (archived here).
On July 30, 2024, Israel claimed that its airstrike killed senior Hezbollah commander Fuad Shukr (archived here).
