Did Megan Fox delete her X and Instagram posts in September 2024? No, that's not true: Archive copies of Fox's X feed show that she has not posted there since January 2013. She deleted her Instagram posts and has not posted there since May 2024. The actress has a history of openly expressing disdain for social media use.
The claim appeared in a post (archived here) on X, formerly known as Twitter, on September 22, 2024. It began:
Megan Fox is the latest celebrity to scrub her social media accounts. She's wiped most of tweets on X and all her posts on Instagram.

Although the post does not mention Sean "Diddy" Combs by name, the timing of the claim comes as other posts falsely linked celebrities -- including Pink and Usher -- changing or deleting their social media accounts to Combs' sex trafficking and racketeering indictment and arrest.
The post concerning Fox repeats other conspiracy theories but this fact check will focus only on the claim that Fox scrubbed her social media accounts in September 2024. As evidenced by archive copies of her X feed, she has not used her X account since January 2013. Here is an archive timeline showing her inactivity: 2014, 2017, 2020, 2023 and 2024.
Her last tweet dates back to January 9, 2013, and was still visible on her X feed at the time of writing. Consistent with her stopping on the platform, it read:
5 days on Twitter and I have yet to discern it's purpose. #WhatIsThePoint ???

As for Fox's Instagram, People (archived here) and Daily Express US (archived here) reported that she wiped off her posts and stopped posting to her account on the platform in May 2024.
A Lead Stories online search of Google News (archived here) did not produce any credible evidence connecting Fox with the Combs situation.
Fox was never very fond of social media use. In an interview with Glamour UK (archived here) in 2022, the actress said:
I have social media, but I don't personally use it. I have somebody who posts for me and I decide what I want to say ... but I think it's sinister. I think it's evil.
