Fact Check: FAKE Screenshot Shows Trump Post Claiming Chiefs 'Focused on DEI Nonsense' and Eagles Got 'USAID Money Flowing' -- No Such Post Fake Post

Did President Donald Trump react to the Super Bowl in a post on Truth Social saying that the Chiefs were "too focused on DEI nonsense" and the Eagles got "USAID money flowing in like water"? No, that's not true: Images of such a post circulating on social media appear to have been falsified. The post was not present on Trump's Truth Social account and Google hadn't indexed a post like that at the time of writing.

An example of the image could be seen in this Threads post (archived here) published on February 10, 2025. It contained an image that looked like a Truth Social post by Donald Trump that read:

The Chiefs' Super Bowl performance was a DISASTER-totally EMBARRASSING! Maybe too focused on DEI nonsense instead of WINNING? Meanwhile, the Eagles get all the help-USAID money flowing in like water. And let's not forget Taylor Swift-her presence was a DISTRACTION for Travis Kelce. The only good part? The MASSIVE cheers for me-louder than anything in the game! People are saying the MOST EVER at a Super Bowl. The fans know!

This is what the image looked like:

Lead Stories reviewed Donald Trump's account on Truth Social (archived here) and did not see a post like this published after the Super Bowl on February 9, 2025 at the time of writing.

A Google search for the phrase "Maybe too focused on DEI nonsense instead of WINNING?" limited to links containing truthsocial.com/@realdonaldtrump (using the "site:" search operator) returned no results (archived here), indicating Google didn't recently index such a post.

All screenshots of the supposed post reviewed by Lead Stories showed exactly the timestamp ("19m") and used the exact same font, which is not the default font used on Truth Social. If the post had been real there probably would be more screenshots circulating showing different timestamps and the standard font.
