Fact Check: Video Does NOT Authentically Show Woman's Reaction On A Bus To Man Wearing Military Fatigues And Red MAGA Hat It's A Skit

Does a video depict a real-life scene showing a woman screaming at a man dressed in military fatigues and wearing a MAGA hat on a bus? No, that's not true: The video is part of a series of scripted skits, that follow the same scenario where a woman becomes visibly upset and starts loudly protesting when seeing a young man wearing a "Make America Great Again" hat. The videos published on the same social media account use the same actors in various roles.

The video was in a post (archived here) shared on X by the @RadioGenoa account on April 30, 2025, under the title "We need to reopen mental hospitals." The 33-second video begins with the woman dramatically yelling:

You wearing this outfit that my husband fought for this country, and look at you! Look at you! You're a piece of doodoo and you know it! You've ruined this country, you and all of your people that are robots. Robots! You robots! You drank the Kool-Aid, didn't you, huh? Didn't you?

This is what the post looked like at the time of writing:

The video uses the same actors and storylines as clips from another account on TikTok, @networkmediaissod. As Lead Stories previously wrote, it publishes sketches, not real-life videos.

The account posted several variations of the supposed onboard MAGA hat scenes, including those -- here (archived here) and here (archived here) -- in which the same man implied to have been a passenger in the clip reviewed in this fact check appeared as a pilot.
