Fact Check: Video Showing President Trump Dancing On White House Roof Is Not Authentic No Dancing

Does authentic video show President Trump dancing on the White House roof on August 5, 2025? No, that's not true: A review of the actual C-Span video available online shows that the fake video, which includes a C-Span logo, does not match the authentic footage. There is no dancing on the C-Span video. President Trump paused to answer questions shouted by reporters on the ground below at the point on the roof where the fake video showed him dancing. The account posting the video acknowledges in it's profile that it shares "doctored videos."

The video appeared in a post (archived here) shared on X by the @drefanzor account on August 5, 2025. The caption above the video read:

The President of the United States is unfit for office

President Trump spent about twenty minutes on the rooftop, inspecting recent changes to the Rose Garden and the planned location for a new ballroom.
