Did Qatar "demand" returning the jet it gave to the Trump administration in the late spring of 2025? No, that's not true: As of September 12, 2025, Lead Stories found no credible reports corroborating the claim. The Qatari Ministry of Foreign Affairs made no such public demands.
The claim appeared in a video (archived here) published on TikTok on September 10, 2025. It showed a banner saying:
Quatar demands their 'gifted' plane back 😂
This is what it looked like on TikTok at the time of writing:

The post went live in the aftermath of the September 9, 2025, Israeli drone strike on Doha, the Qatari capital (archived here). It referred to the 747 jet accepted (archived here) as a gift from the Qatari government by the Trump administration in the late spring of 2025.
Contrary to the claim, searches across Google News (archived here) and Yahoo News (archived here) didn't produce any reports confirming that the Qatari government had a change of mind regarding the transfer of the aircraft.
As of this writing, the website of the Qatari Ministry of Foreign Affairs (archived here) didn't show any statements demanding the return of the plane. The most recent of statement (archived here), which was released on September 10, 2025, didn't discuss it, either.
In his immediate comments on Truth Social following the September 9, 2025, attack on Doha, U.S. President Donald Trump said (archived here) that he views Qatar "as a strong Ally and friend of the U.S." Trump said he feels "badly about the location of the attack".
In mid-May 2025, the Washington Post (archived here) wrote that the jet had been brought to the San Antonio International Airport in Texas five weeks earlier. It was the last reported location of the aircraft.
