Fact Check: Phil Collins Did NOT Announce A 2026 World Tour With 32 Dates, Nor Have Trace Adkins, Eric Clapton, Carlos Santana And Many Other Artists In Clickbait AI-Generated Tour Posters AI Slop

Did Phil Collins "send the internet into orbit" when he announced the 32 dates of his 2026 World Tour? No, that's not true: Phil Collins has not announced a 2026 world tour. His name, and those of many other artists such as Trace Adkins, Bruce Springsteen, Eric Clapton, Pink, and Lenny Kravitz, are being used in a clickbait formula gaming social media for engagement and off-platform clicks. Facebook pages run by people in Vietnam are flooding the platform with fake AI-generated tour posters, suspicious links, and nearly identical captions promoting a 32-date world tour, sometimes named the "One Last Ride Tour".

The Phil Collins tour hoax appeared in a post (archived here) published by the Facebook page Harmonic Horizon on Dec. 11, 2025. The caption includes a link that redirects to lumo.feji.io. It begins:

✨ PHIL COLLINS JUST SENT THE INTERNET INTO ORBIT ✨

Hold your breath -- Phil Collins has officially announced his 2026 World Tour, and the emotional shockwave is sweeping across the globe like a cosmic blast.

This is what the post looked like on Facebook at the time of writing:

The caption continues:

Thirty-five nights.
Three continents.
One voice capable of turning stadiums into galaxies of light and making thousands feel like they're breathing the same heartbeat.
This isn't just a tour.
It's a universe of emotion -- soaring anthems, intimate piano moments, glowing wristbands, and the kind of magic only Phil Collins can conjure when he steps into a spotlight.
Rumors of stunning collaborations are already sending fans spiraling, but honestly?
Phil alone at a piano, singing into the dark, is enough to stop the world.
2026 won't just shine.
It will glow, burst, and lift millions higher than ever before.
Phil Collins is hitting the road...
and the planet is about to light up. 🌍✨💛

This announcement is fake. Phil Collins' website philcollins.com (archived here) and official X account @philcollinsfeed (archived here) contain no 32-date world tour announcement.

Lead Stories used a small portion of the post caption, "officially announced his 2026 World Tour, and the emotional shockwave", to search Facebook for similar posts. The results contained over 100 fake AI-generated promotional posters which had been churned out with a similar formula. These clickbait posts contain links to suspicious websites and are frequently associated with pages targeting the fan base of the specific artist. The transparency reports found in the "about" section of each page, consistently point to page managers in Vietnam. Several tour posters (pictured below) were nearly identical to the one featuring Phil Collins -- and all purporting to have 32 dates worldwide. They show Neil Young, Bruce Springsteen, Joan Baez and Bob Dylan, Trevor Noah, Eric Clapton, Trace Adkins, Pink, Paul Stanley, Carlos Santana, Shania Twain, and Johnny Depp.

To be clear, some of the artists whose names appear in these fake posts will be performing in 2026, but they have not announced a 32-date world tour, or named the tour "One Last Ride", "Gold Dust Woman", or "Gold Dust Man". Trace Adkins has announced six dates (archived here) in US cities in 2026, Eric Clapton will be performing ten shows (archived here) in seven countries in 2026. On Nov. 18, 2025 Carlos Santana announced ten dates in U.S. cities for the "2026 Oneness Tour" (archived here).

Due to the large volume of AI slop surfaced with this Facebook search, this article will not link to or archive each individual post, or document the pages where they originated. The performers' names will be listed, but beyond the few mentioned above, verifying if and where they will be performing in 2026 is outside the scope of this article.

Lead Stories found several themes repeated in the AI-generated posters of this clickbait campaign. We have dubbed one perplexing design theme, "The Glass of Milk Tour". These posters feature likenesses of Yungblud, Eric Clapton, Ronan Keating, and Tom Jones. All claim there are 32 dates worldwide.

Another series of posters for "Gold Dust Man" and "Gold Dust Woman" tours feature an array of golden spotlights and a crescent moon hanging above the audience holding up lighters. These posters feature the names of Brad Paisley, Carlos Santana, Guy Penrod, Jim Carrey, Ella Langley, Leann Rimes, Yusuf Islam (stage name Cat Stevens), Bob Dylan, Pink, and Adam Lambert, and Gretchen Wilson.

The fictional "One Last Ride Tour" announcement was posted (archived here) by the Country Legends Unplugged Facebook page on Aug. 22, 2025. The fake lineup (pictured below left) included Dolly Parton, Willie Nelson, George Strait, Reba McEntire, Alan Jackson and Blake Shelton. Since then, many more artist's names have been dragged into the farewell tour hoax; Steven Tyler, Adam Lambert and Queen (together), Carlos Santana, Pink, Ringo Starr and Paul McCartney, Kid Rock, Eminem, 50 Cent, Snoop, Dr. Dre and Rihanna.

At least six musicians were pictured holding a guitar and pointing to someone in the crowd; John Foster, Neil Diamond, Cat Stevens, Bob Seger, Ella Langley, and Chris Tomlin. All the world tours were described as explosive, except for Diamond's which was called iconic.

Additional artists named in this clickbait ruse are Luke Bryan, Usher, Martin Lawrence, Johnny Depp, Jelly Roll & Eminem, Bruno Mars, Stevie Wonder, Maksim Chmerkovskiy, Hank Marvin, Eric Clapton, Brandon Lake, Steven Tyler, Slipknot & Rammstein or Motionless In White together, Teddy Swims, Kelly Clarkson, Yungblud & Steven Tyler, Morgan Wallen & Chris Stapleton, Steve Perry & Neal Schon, Ella Langley & Riley Green, Céline Dion, Blake Shelton & Gwen Stefani, Mick Jagger & Steven Tyler, Chris Martin, pop trio Il Volo, Gladys Knight, Bonnie Raitt & Jackson Browne, Morgan Wallen, Andrea Bocelli & Matteo Bocelli, Tom Jones & Lady Gaga, Chaka Khan & Ariana Grande, Lainey Wilson & Miranda Lambert, and David Coverdale.
