Fact Check: Arnold Schwarzenegger Did NOT Reveal Chuck Norris Asked Him To Take Care Of Kickstart Kids Before Norris Died Rep Says Fake

Did Arnold Schwarzenegger reveal Chuck Norris asked him before his passing to take care of his Kickstart Kids program? No, that's not true: The video is fake, Schwarzenegger's publicist told Lead Stories. The video is clearly labeled as AI-generated. No such video or announcement exists on any of Schwarzenegger's social media accounts or in legitimate news reports.

The claim appeared in a video that was uploaded to TikTok account @envision.ip on March 21, 2026 (archived here). It opened with a person who purported to be Schwarzenegger saying:

Chuck Norris made a request to me before his passing.

This is what the post looked like on TikTok at the time of writing:

In the video the audio claimed:

About two years ago he seriously asked me to take care of the Kickstart Kids for him. When he told me about it he spoke so calmly and I agreed without much thinking about it. Now that he's gone I realized this is the legacy he entrusted to me.

Norris, 86, died on March 20, 2026, according to a report in the Associated Press (archived here). He founded Kickstart Kids (archived here) in 1990 with the help of President George H. W. Bush.

Schwarzenegger posted a message about Norris on his X account @Schwarzenegger on the same day, as this screenshot shows:

Lead Stories contacted Schwarzenegger's publicist Natasha Dubin-Collatos, who responded via email March 23, 2026, writing: "This is fake - thank you for checking."

The video has a tag that reads, "Creator labeled as AI-generated," as this screenshot shows (red circle added by Lead Stories):

A search of Schwarzenegger's Instagram (archived here) and TikTok (archived here) accounts did not find a matching video or any other message that said he was continuing Norris's charity at his request. Had Schwarzenegger made such an announcement it would have been major news. Lead Stories searched Google News (archived here) and Yahoo! News (archived here) and did not find any matching news reports.
