Fact Check: Jason Aldean Did NOT Walk Off Set Of Stephen Colbert's Show Over Trump Joke Satire Story

Did country singer Jason Aldean walk off the set of Stephen Colbert's TV show over a joke about Donald Trump? No, that's not true: The story originated on a Facebook page known for its satirical content. The image supporting the claim is stamped with a warning label that says: "Satire. Nothing on this page is real."

The claim appeared in a post (archived here) by the @GigaBeers account on X on March 30, 2026. It read:

Jason Aldean walked off the set of Late Night with Stephen Colbert before playing a single note after the 'comedian' tried to humiliate him in front of the audience.

'Colbert was introducing him,' said Aldean's manager, Ben Jarroo, 'Then he made a crass, unnecessary statement about "forgiving him" for supporting President Trump. Jason wasn't having it.'

When Colbert said his name and motioned for the curtain, there was nobody there. Aldean and his band had walked off, and they won't be coming back.

That's how these leftists need to be treated.

This is what the post looked like on X at the time of writing:

The fake story originated from a post (archived here) on the Reagan Was Right page (archived here) on Facebook on March 27, 2026. It states: "Nothing on this page is real":

The image was also stamped with a disclaimer, saying "ALLOD. Satire. Nothing on this page is real." The label is circled in red below:

ALLOD stands for America's Last Line of Defense -- a series (archived here) of satirical Facebook pages and satirical news websites.
