Fact Check: Trump Did NOT Say Queen Elizabeth Should Pardon Prince Andrew -- Satire Post Joke Post

Did President Donald Trump post a message on his Truth Social account saying that Queen Elizabeth should pardon former prince Andrew after his arrest? No, that's not true: The original message was posted by an account clearly marked as satire as the screenshot shows. "Luke Skywalker" actor Mark Hamill shared the fake post, apparently missing the satire label, to mock Trump for not knowing Queen Elizabeth II has been dead for over three years.

The claim appeared in a March 24, 2026, post on the Bluesky account of actor Mark Hamill (archived here), which opened:

FUN FACT: He advised Queen Elizabeth to pardon her son 3 years, 5 months & 12 days after she passed away. Please add "UNINFORMED" to my list. Thank you for your attention to this embarrassing matter.

This is what the Trump message looked like on Bluesky at the time of writing:

Hamill posted a screenshot of what appeared at first glance to be a Donald Trump Truth Social post, without noting that the post was credited to @realDotardTrump. The screenshot has the watermark "Mrs.Putin Satire." The original was posted on the @Mrs.Putin Facebook account (archived here), which is clearly labeled satire, as this screenshot shows:

The account is clearly labeled satire as this screenshot of the bio shows:

Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor was arrested Feb. 19, 2026, on suspicion of misconduct related to the Epstein case, the Associated Press reported (archived here). When Andrew was stripped of his prince title by King Charles III in 2025, Trump said it was "terrible" that he lost his title, Yahoo! News (archived here) reported.

Had Trump posted a message about Queen Elizabeth pardoning Andrew, it would have been major news. A search of Google News (archived here) and Yahoo! News (archived here) found other fact checks for the claim but did not find any matching news reports.
