Fact Check: FAKE Video Shows Pro-Palestinian Activists Smashing The Albion Arms Pub In England -- It's AI-Generated Fabricated Vid

Does a real video show pro-Palestinian activists smashing windows at The Albion Arms pub in London? No, that's not true: There is no credible evidence that this incident ever took place, and no reputable outlets have reported it. An AI detection tool that assessed the clip concluded that "the video is likely AI-generated," further supporting the conclusion that it is not authentic.

The claim appeared in a post and video (archived here) by the @britspatriots account on May 11, 2026. It read:

outside the albion arms pub in london that night

a group of people smashed windows

while waving palestinian flags

this is our country

we won't be intimidated

This is what a screenshot of the video in the post looked like on X at the time of writing:

AI detection

The Hive Moderation AI-Generated Content Detection tool concluded the video was 100% "likely to be AI-generated":

Additional AI indicator

The fake clip contains another indicator of AI generation: In the first second of the video, a chair instantaneously appears next to a table outside the pub. It pops out of the middle of the crowd and then fully forms.

The caption for the video is vague. It does not specify when this alleged incident occurred, other than saying, "that night." A reverse image search (archived here) on Google Images traced the screenshot from the video to a Facebook post (archived here) from April 20, 2026. Translated from Vietnamese, it read:

Europe is tired. #news #currentaffairs #society #community #events

Lead Stories searched Google News (archived here) and Yahoo! News (archived here) and did not find any matching reports for the words: "pro-Palestinian protesters smash windows" and "Albion Arms." Major news outlets would have widely reported such an outbreak of violence in London had it occurred. For example, it was reported that more than 500 people were arrested at a pro-Palestinian sit-down demonstration (archived here) in London's Trafalgar Square on April 11, 2026. There were no reports of violence from that rally.
