Does a real video show a woman stuck upside down in a water slide? No, that's not true: The clip is digitally generated, not authentic footage. An AI detection tool concluded that the video was 100% likely AI-generated, and a visual analysis revealed additional AI artifacts. Lead Stories found no credible news coverage or eyewitness video of such an incident.

Additional AI indicator
The clip also contains an indicator of AI generation. There is water flowing at the bottom of the tube, but it does not flow past her body or pool around her shoulders and head as would be expected. Additionally, neither her mouth nor her head moves when she sighs and says, "Oh, my God," and her chest and belly do not move as she gasps for air.
Lead Stories searched Google News (archived here) and Yahoo! News (archived here) and did not find any matching reports for "woman upside down in a water slide." Had there been such an incident, there likely would have been widespread news coverage.
