A FOX Sports video published on YouTube on June 11, 2026, shows the opening ceremony in Mexico City (archived here). The part of the ceremony introducing the nations did not involve pyrotechnics or elaborate floats. Flag bearers, all wearing simple black suits, were called one at a time. A screenshot from the two-minute mark (pictured below) shows the flag bearer enter after the announcer called the Islamic Republic of Iran.
