Did Republican activist Konner Earnest admit to having sex with a dog? No, that's not true: There is no evidence from credible sources that Earnest has ever made such an admission. Public records show that he was arrested in April 2025 on two sexual-assault charges and one charge of continuous violence against the family, with no charge involving bestiality.

Earnest is a Texas Republican political activist who became involved in conservative politics as a high school student and later worked on former state Sen. Don Huffines' 2022 campaign for governor. The Texas Tribune reported (archived here) in October 2023 that Earnest was involved with Nick Fuentes and the European American Community, a group that says U.S. citizenship should be based on European ancestry. Earnest was later removed from a young Republican organization (archived here) amid controversy over those connections.
According to a Montgomery County, Texas, District Clerk Court Records Inquiry (archived here) conducted by Lead Stories, Earnest was arrested in April 2025 on two sexual-assault charges and one charge of continuous violence against the family. All three are felonies, and, as of Sept. 18, 2026, the case had not gone to trial. Also, none involved bestiality, which would be a separate charge under Section 21.09 of the Texas Penal Code (archived here).
