Donald Trump holds a commanding lead in the race for attention and interest on social networks, according to the inaugural Lead Stories' Trendolizer Political Ranking compiled Monday, July 13, 2015.
Trump's ranking of 33,068 is far ahead of number two Scott Walker, who got a major media bump since he formally launched his campaign Monday morning. Walker's 19,086 ranking is well ahead of number three Hillary Clinton's 13,781. Bernie Sanders, who fund raising and crowd-drawing success is giving him a boost in media interest, is close behind Clinton in 4th at 13,444.
Jeb Bush, who conventional wisdom ranked as the GOP frontrunner until Trump's loud entrance, is at a distant 5th with a 7,822 ranking. Ted Cruz is just behind Bush in 6th with 5,145. Lindsey Graham is 7th with 3,167; Marco Rubio is 8th at 2,404; Rand Paul is 9th at 1,727 and Rick Santorum is 10th, registering at 1,027.
The remaining dozen candidates' rankings are: Chris Christie, 867; Jim Webb, 839; Rick Perry, 814;
Ben Carson, 772; Mike Huckabee, 288; Lincoln Chafee, 254; Bobby Jindal,187; Joe Biden, 178; Carly Fiorina, 148; John Kasich, 52; George Pataki, 0.
