Ben Carson Believes Evolution Is Satan's Plot To Undermine God

  • by: Alan Duke

Ben Carson's been a popular speaker for conservative Christian groups for years, but now that the retired neurosurgeon is in the top tier of contenders for the GOP presidential nomination much more attention is being paid to what he's said.

Carson, the first surgeon to separate twins who were conjoined at the brain, has been saying for years that he believes humans have not evolved from other species, but were created as humans by God. Darwin's theory of evolution, which is widely accepted by scientists, is the devil's strategy to undermine God's word, according to Carson.

This 48-minute video is Dr. Carson speaking to a group about evolution versus creationism and the big bang theory in 2011. For the direct reference to Satan's encouragement of the adoption of the theory of evolution, start watching around the 45-minute mark.
