Remember the video of the illegal immigrants in Calais trying to sneak aboard a truck, only to be confronted by a polar bear?
At the time we thought it might have been a fake, but we have received confirmation from the Yorkshire Wildlife Park that the footage was genuine.
Nissan the polar bear was on his way from Moscow Zoo to Yorkshire (first by air to Frankfurt, then by road to Calais) when the incident happened. After the uninvited guests were removed from the transport Nissan arrived safely at his destination.
