Lead Stories Exclusive: 40 Women Claim Unprotected Sex With HIV-Positive Charlie Sheen

  • by: Alan Duke

More than 40 women and one male transsexual told Lead Stories in recent days they were worried they were exposed to HIV through unprotected sex with Charlie Sheen, but none of them have yet tested positive for the virus that can lead to AIDS. A few of them have consulted with lawyers concerning possible legal action against the actor.

Sheen, 50, acknowledged in an NBC "Today Show" interview with Matt Lauer on Monday, November 16, 2015, that he was diagnosed with HIV in 2011. His admission followed two weeks of speculation triggered by a Radar Online story that an A-list actor in Hollywood was hiding his HIV status while still having unprotected sex.

Lead Stories then published a story titled "We Know What 'A-list' Actor Is Hiding His HIV Status & We'll Tell You Who It Is NOT!" It was designed to relieve the panic caused by the tabloid report, since it put every male actor who might be considered an A-lister under a cloud and created a health scare for any sex partners. We provided an e-mail address for anyone who had unprotected sex with an actor to contact us. If the actor named was not the one we knew to be the subject of the HIV story we added the name to a list in our story of those we knew not to be that actor.

The e-mailers included 43 women and a male transsexual who each claimed to have had unprotected sexual encounters with Sheen in recent years. We aso heard from several men concerned about their girlfriends. They wanted to know if Sheen was the actor in question.

"I've been crying for hours since i read your report!!" one woman wrote. "I'm in a bad position financially and I can't afford to get tested frivolously please if it was Charlie Sheen let me know so I can take the appropriate measures and inform my ex boyfriend as well "

"I'm terrified," said another. "I slept with Charlie Sheen several months ago and have never been tested."

"I was forwarded your article today by several concerned girlfriends and my own mother due to a relationship I had with an 'A-list' actor a year ago," said one woman. "He insisted that we don't use protection and now I have an appointment tomorrow to go get tested."

Here is a sampling of other messages from worried women:

"Is it Charlie Sheen? Me and my sister both have done sexual favors for him."

"I got f**ked by Charlie Sheen, was it him?"

"I have a terrible feeling. F**k."

"I met Charlie Sheen eight months ago and was invited to one of his parties. It was only one time and I'm now terrified from everything I've been reading. Was it him?"

"Please help. I made the mistake of sleeping with Charlie Sheen a year ago...I'm terrified that it could be him...please let me know if I should be worried. Please, I beg you. I have a daughter."

"I slept with him last February. I haven't gotten tested. Was it him?"

"I had intercourse with charlie sheen about a year ago. I would just like to know if it was him so I can have some peace of mind. I'm very scared and worried."

"I hooked up with Charlie Sheen, was on all kinds of stuff and don't remember if there was a condom used or not."

"I am only 23 years old and rumors are circulating about charlie sheen. I slept with him in 2013 we were both visiting Alaska I am so worried please tell me its not him!!"

"I am a nobody bartender. thats it. i just need to know if i need to get tested. please help me. i cant eat or sleep thinking about all of this. please dont judge me. they were past mistakes and i havent dont anything close to that in years. im engaged and need to know what the f**k i supposed to do.

"I slept with Charlie Sheen in late 2012 at a party in LA. Is it him?"

"I'm embarrassed to admit it but I slept with Charlie Sheen about a year ago...I need to know "was it him" or rather "is it him"? I pray you say no...but I need to know the truth...please."

"I hooked up with Charlie Sheen, was on all kinds of stuff and don't remember if there was a condom used or not. Was it him?"

Several of the e-mailers said they were were friends of women who claimed to have had sex with Sheen:

"I recently got a new girlfriend and she used to roll with Charlie Sheen up until about a few months ago...they did have unprotected sex a number of times and fortunately so far we've always used condoms...still though after reading this I gotta wonder. Was it Sheen? Am I and my new girl safe or do we need to go get an AIDS test like yesterday?"

"I am currently in a relationship with someone who has both slept and participated in recreational drug use with Charlie sheen. Please tell me it's not him and give me peace of mind."

"Although I did not sleep with him I am currently in a relationship with someone who has both slept and participated in recreational drug use with Charlie sheen. Please tell me it's not him and give me peace of mind."

"She had her blood test this morning and is now waiting for her results which take a few days here in Ca. I have been checking your site daily...she just gets upset, she didn't know who he was... she was young and he was older than her."

Reports followed Sheen's public announcement saying exposed women were lining up to sue Sheen, however, only a few of the dozens in contact with Lead Stories said they were meeting with lawyers. But they are visiting their doctors:

"I am scheduled for testing next week. Your list of people it is not was very helpful."

"I can confirm to you that I have been tested and I am not HIV positive."
