Trump's High: The Donald Is Very Happy About New Polls, 'Wacky' Cruz & Big Endorsement

  • by: Alan Duke

Donald Trump started his Tuesday by sharing the latest national polls that show his domination of the GOP presidential field growing. He tweeted the results to a CNN poll that gives him 41% versus just 19% for the number two Republican contender Ted Cruz.

Trump also retweeted an ABC News/Washington Post national survey that put him at 37% and Cruz at 21%.

Trump also announces "a very powerful endorsement" will be coming Tuesday because "so many people want to endorse us because they say Ted Cruz is wacky."

Later in the morning, Trump revealed he was being endorsed by the son of Liberty University founder Rev. Jerry Falwell. The endorsement could give Trump a boost in his contest with Cruz for support among Christian evangelicals.
